VIRTUAL TRAINING: USING THE STAR EARLY LITERACY TOOL TO SUPPORT PREK STUDENT

DESCRIPTION:

This virtual training provides general information about the Star Early Literacy Assessment Tool and guidelines for administering the Star assessment with fidelity.  VPK teachers will become knowledgeable about the 41 skill sets covered, computer assessment questions and next step instructional planning to support PreK student's Kindergarten-Readiness.

To support teachers in the classroom; materials related to the training will be available for pick for participates successfully completing the training (date & time TBD).

INSTRUCTIONS:

We STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you join our Virtual Training via computer.

1. Go to the meeting invite and click on meeting link.
2. That will open a web page, where you'll see Guest, and you will type your FULL NAME.
3. Click on “Enter Room”.
4. If using a computer, choose “Open in Browser”. If using a cell phone, choose “Open in Application”.
4. You will then enter the Meeting Room.
