Social Emotional MATERIAL Training Cohort #2 & COMMUNITY OF PRACTICES - Discovery Sources

What makes this program different?


  • No cost to participating providers and teachers, each participant receives 5 kits of materials.
  • Increase in the capacity of teachers to work with children's challenging behavior and increase social emotional skills in the classrooms.
  • Virtual training and meetings, group discussion on how to implement the material emotional partner Kits, challenges, and resources.

1. Each Provider: 1 Director and 1 PreK teacher (3-5 years old classroom) will receive their own set of resources to be used in the classroom (5 different social emotional kits)
2. Each participant will receive 6 hours of training and 3 hours of Community practice.
3. Continuity of Care – Think of it as a “social emotional tool” that builds upon itself - beginning with foundational concepts, such as identifying emotions in the younger years, and moving toward more advanced concepts, such as peer conflict resolution, as the child grows older and more independent.
