2019 Annual Conference: "Quest for Quality"

ELCPBC's CEO, Warren Eldridge, recognized in "Advocate Hall of Fame"

National Association for Family Child Care Association (NAFCCA), hosted by the Florida Family Child Care Home Association (FFCCHA)

Congratulations to our CEO, Warren Eldridge, who was the recipient of this year’s “Advocate Hall of Fame” Award at the 2019 Conference of the National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC). The annual conference was titled “Quest for Quality” this year and was hosted by the Florida Family Child Care Home Association (FFCCHA) in Orlando, Florida, from June 19-22, 2019. The Early Learning Coalition of Palm Beach County, Inc. provided sponsorships along with hotel accomodations, for the fourth year in a row, to fifteen (15) of our local Family Child Care Homes' staff to attend this special event.

Started in 1982, the National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC) is a national professional association dedicated to promoting high-quality early childhood experiences in the unique environment of family child care programs. NAFCC works on behalf of the one million family child care providers operating nationwide, to prioritize the role of family child care and promote access, affordability and quality of early care and education. The Florida Family Child Care Home Association (FFCCHA) was established in 1993 with 6 officers and 265 members and has grown to 12 officers with over 600 members.

Warren Eldridge has been the Chief Executive Officer of the Early Learning Coalition of Palm Beach County, Inc. since 2003. Overseeing one of the largest Early Learning Coalitions in the state, Mr. Eldridge and his team serve more than 30,000 children and their families annually, advancing quality care and education for Palm Beach County’s youngest residents. Mr. Eldridge has dedicated his career to improving the lives of Florida’s children and families for over two decades. He was nominated for this special recognition by one of our long-standing Palm Beach County child care providers, Ms. Mary Morris (Owner/Operator of Ms. Mary Morris Family Child Care in West Palm Beach, Florida). Thank you to Ms. Morris...

...and Congratulations to Warren!
