Feeding South Florida provides direct-service programs to individuals in need of assistance. This includes benefits application assistance, access to their choice pantry, referrals for longer-term food assistance at a partner agency, and home delivery for qualified individuals. Boynton Beach: Small Business Grants Available
The City's Economic Development & Strategy Department has created the  CDBG CARES Act Small Business Grant Program . Small businesses with 25 or fewer employees, located within the City of Boynton Beach (excluding those within the CRA district), who have experienced a loss of revenue due to COVID-19 and have not receive ANY funding from the CARES Act or any programs funded by the CARES Act are eligible to apply for a grant up to  $10,000 .
 
Applications will be processed on a first-qualified, first-served basis. The online application portal, along with additional details, will be posted on Friday, June 26 at  WhyBoynton.com .

U.S. Small Business Administration Now Accepting New Applications for Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL)
Small Businesses can receive an Economic Injury Disaster Loan advance of up to $10,000. This advance is designed to provide economic relief to businesses that are currently experiencing a temporary loss of revenue. This loan advance will not have to be repaid.
 

 

 
 
Child Care Relief in Federal Stimulus Package
 
Late Wednesday night, the Senate passed a sweeping economic stimulus bill to provide relief to America’s families, small businesses, and major industries as they struggle with the effects of the COVID-19 crisis. Included throughout the package is significant relief for the nation’s child care industry. It is important to note: the U.S. House of Representatives must pass the legislation and then it goes to the President for signature.

Paycheck Protection Program
The Paycheck Protection Program prioritizes millions of Americans employed by small businesses by authorizing up to $349 billion toward job retention and certain other expenses.
 
Small businesses and eligible nonprofit organizations, Veterans organizations, and Tribal businesses described in the Small Business Act, as well as individuals who are self-employed or are independent contractors, are eligible if they also meet program size standards.

SMALL BUSINESS RELIEF RESOURCES
 
Child Care Specific Provisions in Stimulus Bill | Link to child care specific provisions in the bill.
 
Keeping American Workers Paid & Employed Act (Part A of Stimulus) Link to guide for employee retention efforts during this time.
 
Small Business Emergency Bridge Loan | Governor Ron DeSantis activated the Florida Business Emergency Bridge Loan Program to support small businesses impacted by COVID-19. This is a short term loan, not a grant.
 
Business Damage Assessment Survey | The State of Florida has activated the Business Damage Assessment Survey to assess the impact of COVID-19 on Florida's local business operations so actions to implement appropriate relief programs can begin. If you want child care businesses to be represented, we strongly recommend every child care facility (especially private pay) fill out this survey.
 
Florida Dept. of Economic Opportunity's Short Time Compensation Program for Employers | The short time compensation program helps employers retain their workforce in times of temporary slowdown. There are eligibility requirements, but this is a temporary solution for employees with reduced hours.
 
U.S. Small Business Administration Disaster Assistance in Response to Coronavirus | The SBA provides low-interest disaster loans to help businesses and homeowners recover from declared disasters.
 
Price Gouging Hotline | Price Gouging Hotline: 1.866.966.7226 Please call and report any price gouging that you see locally.
 
Coronavirus Tax Relief | The IRS has established a special section on their website to help taxpayers, businesses, and others affected by the Coronavirus.
