General Operating and Sustainability

What Makes It All Work

Strong programs require strong systems. Your gift builds the capacity, partnerships, and innovation that let ELCPBC expand its reach and respond to what the community needs next.

  • Organizational Capacity and Sustainability – Every program ELCPBC delivers runs on a foundation of people, systems, and operational strength. Investing here ensures the Coalition can meet today’s community needs and scale to meet tomorrow’s
  • Community Partnerships and Collaboration – School readiness is a shared goal. This fund brings together early learning providers, businesses, nonprofits, and community leaders around that goal, expanding resources and creating solutions that last
  • Research, Evaluation, and Innovation – Knowing what works matters as much as doing the work. This fund supports identifying proven approaches, evaluating outcomes, and directing resources where they have the greatest impact.
  • Technology and Data Systems – The tools families use to access services, and the systems ELCPBC uses to measure results, require ongoing investment. Strong technology means greater efficiency, accountability, and a better experience for everyone we serve.
Programs and Initiatives

Where Readiness Happens

Give directly the programs that put children on a path to kindergarten readiness and give families the tools to support that journey at home.

  • Parent University – When parents are equipped to extend learning at home, kindergarten readiness climbs. Parent University builds family confidence across four areas: math and literacy fluency, family wellness, and civic engagement. Access to the families who need it most.
  • Child Care Advocacy Fellowship – Over six months, child care leaders learn how policy shapes early childhood education, build statewide networks, and develop the skills to advocate for children, families, and the early learning workforce. This fund grows the people behind the work.
  • Age of Learning Math and Reading Academy – Our adaptive learning platform meets children where they are, and the results are measurable. Kindergarten readiness climbed from 62% to 72% across 650-plus sites using this platform. This fund scales what works.
  • PALs Math Program – Math anxiety starts early and can be hard to break. PALs builds parent confidence and children’s math skills at the same time through simple, everyday activities families do together. This fund reaches more families with a program that delivers.
