The Early Learning Coalition is hosting its 8th Annual Early Childhood Conference: EMPOWER on Saturday, May 16 at the Hilton Palm Beach (PBI) Hotel in West Palm Beach, FL.

CALL FOR PROPOSALS

(Open February 11th through March 11th)


The Early Learning Coalition of Palm Beach County is currently seeking speaking proposals for our annual Empower Conference that will take place in West Palm Beach on Saturday, May 16th from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. A $150 stipend is available for qualifying presenters. The presenter stipend is for lead speakers only. 


The attendees of the Conference will consist of local early childhood educators and parents. The Empower ’26 Conference will consist of workshops, interactive lectures, and keynote addresses along with a lunch for our attendees. We are anticipating 350 attendees from the early child care environment, and families in the Palm Beach County community.


The Conference Review Committee will select the proposals that contribute to a balanced and comprehensive conference program and may also ask submitters to refine their proposals to create the best possible content for the conference. The following are topic areas:


  • Family Engagement
  • Developmentally Appropriate Practices
  • Inclusion and Early Intervention
  • Cultural Responsiveness and Trauma Informed Care
  • Self-Care and Wellness
  • Program Management and Supervision
