How to Register:
- Complete the Interest Form
- Upon completion of the Interest Form, you will receive a Confirmation Form to sign and return via BoxSign.
- Look over, complete, and sign the BoxSign form confirming your participation.
- Once a completed BoxSign form is returned including your signature, you will be registered for your selected CGC class depending on availability.
- Once you are registered for a class, you will receive an email from Serena Dramis confirming your registration.
If you do not complete the BoxSign form, you will NOT be registered for a CGC course.
How is the content structured?
The program begins with an introductory session in which the educators develop rapport, learn what CLASS is, and find out what they will be learning about in the following sessions. The second session introduces the CLASS domains of effective education. Sessions 3 through 11 cover each of the CLASS dimensions of effective education, usually 1 or 2 dimensions per session. In these sessions, educators learn what the dimension is, and what indicators make up the dimension, see written and video examples of each dimension, and then plan to practice these interactions. The last session is a send-off that celebrates all the progress the educators have made on the program.
Materials will be provided on the first day of the in-person course.
Participants who complete all the required sessions will receive 2.4 CEUs/24 In-Service hours.
