This training provides an overview of the transition from Pre-K CLASS® 1st Edition to Pre-K CLASS® 2nd Edition through a practical crosswalk approach grounded in continuous quality improvement and developmentally appropriate practice. Participants will explore key updates, including clearer behavioral markers, expanded equity-focused examples, child-centered instructional practices, and strengthened educator responsiveness. The session emphasizes how effective teacher-child interactions support inclusive learning environments, reflective teaching practices, positive classroom culture, and meaningful learning experiences for all children while preparing educators for successful implementation of CLASS® 2nd Edition during the 2026-2027 program year.
