This training is highly interactive. Participants will actively engage in outdoor-inspired activities—running back and forth to collect objects, problem-solving with teammates, exploring materials, and demonstrating hands-on learning experiences. By practicing these activities firsthand, participants will better understand how to bring intentional, meaningful outdoor learning into their own classrooms.
Outdoor play isn’t just recess—it’s a powerful extension of the classroom. In this training, providers and teachers will explore how to turn outdoor time into intentional, standards-based learning opportunities. Discover how nature and movement can support literacy, math, science, and social-emotional development, while encouraging creativity, collaboration, and joyful learning.
