Join us for a 3-session series as we take a journey through the five components of STEAM!
This fun and interactive training will leave you with innovative ideas for planning STEAM activities in your classroom while enhancing students’ ability to problem-solve and learn in exciting new ways.
In this course, we will explore:
-What is STEAM?
-A deep dive into each component of STEAM: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math
-Why STEAM is beneficial to young learners
-Materials that enhance the STEAM learning experience
-How to plan and facilitate engaging STEAM activities
-Ways to incorporate STEAM into your learning environment and classroom centers
-Using STEAM to support social-emotional development through teamwork
-Hands-on opportunities to practice developing and facilitating STEAM learning experiences

All three sessions (October 13th, 20th and 27th) will take place in person at the Children Services Council Building:
Class will start promptly at 6:30pm. Please arrive/log-in at least 15 minutes before the start of the class.
